Roof Shingle Reconstruction for a Belleair Home

The existing tile roofing system showed signs of underlayment failure, deteriorated flashing, and moisture intrusion beneath the tile assembly, putting the roof structure at risk.

Our team carefully removed the existing tiles, replaced the compromised waterproofing layers and flashing systems, repaired damaged roof sections, and reconstructed the assembly with updated materials designed for long-term durability and protection.

Project Overview

Restoring Structural Integrity and Preventing Future Water Intrusion

The Problem

The original tile roofing system showed widespread deterioration beneath the visible tile surface, including aging underlayment, failed flashing transitions, and moisture intrusion, caused by prolonged exposure to water infiltration.

What We DID

The existing tile assembly was carefully dismantled to expose the roofing structure below. Damaged waterproofing materials, battens, and flashing systems were removed and replaced with updated roofing components.

System Installed

The reconstructed assembly included high-temperature synthetic underlayment, upgraded valley and penetration flashings, new battens for proper spacing and drainage, and reset clay roof tiles.

The Result

The completed reconstruction restored waterproof protection beneath the tile system, improved drainage performance, reinforced vulnerable transition areas, and extended the overall service life of the roof assembly.

Before

Aging underlayment and deteriorated flashing beneath the tile assembly allowed moisture intrusion into vulnerable roof areas.

After

The reconstructed roofing system now includes upgraded waterproofing layers, reinforced flashing protection, and restored tile installation.
